Introduction to Carbon Fiber Veil
Carbon fiber veil, also known as Carbon fiber tissue, is a multifunctional lightweight non-woven material.With a unique wet forming process, the fixed-length chopped PAN-based carbon fibers will be randomly and uniformly arranged, forming a multi-layer microporous network structure.After the fbers are lapped and formed, an binder is applied to fix the fibers to provide necessary mechanical strength and surface toughness. Through the adjustment of the binder formula and content, the bonding and resin compatibility can also be improved.
The wet-process carbon fiber veil is characterized by low grammage-it can be customized as low as 4g/m2, ultra-light and ultra-thin veil with excellent dispersion effect.

What is the difference between carbon fiber veil and fiberglass veil?
Carbon fiber veil and glass fiber veil are common composite materials. Carbon fiber veil is a veil-like material made of high purity carbon fiber and organic or inorganic binder. Glass fiber veil is a veil-like material composed of glass fiber and resin and other organic adhesives. Under the same size thickness, the strength of carbon fiber thin veil is higher than that of glass fiber thin veil, because the carbon fiber itself has higher strength and stiffness. Carbon fiber veil is harder than glass fiber veil, but it is also more brittle.
